Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 28, 2026

Meu Dólar ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by AllBridge Solutions LLC, located in Florida, United States. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it to match what the app actually does — nothing more.

The short version

  • You decide how your money data gets in: you type it, you import a statement or receipt, or — only if you choose to — you connect a bank through Plaid. We never see or store your bank password.
  • We use your data only to run the app for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
  • You can disconnect a bank, turn off our emails, export your data or delete it at any time.

Information we collect

Account information. Your email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our login provider), your phone number, and — if you provide them — your name and a profile photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name and profile photo from Google.

Financial information you enter or import. Accounts you create (a nickname, bank label and last four digits if you add them), transactions, debts, payments, bills, savings goals, budget settings and the renaming rules you set.

Information from banks you connect. If you choose to connect a bank or credit card, we use Plaid Inc. to do it. Plaid collects your login in its own secure window — we never receive it. With your permission, Plaid sends us your account names, the last digits of the account numbers, balances, transactions and, for credit cards and loans, the balance, minimum payment, due date, last payment and interest rate. Plaid's handling of your data is described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

Documents you upload. Bank statements and receipt photos you choose to import, used only to extract the transactions inside them.

Payment information. If you buy a plan, payment is handled by Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us; we only keep your plan, its status and the date it renews.

Basic technical data. What is needed to run the service securely, such as sign-in tokens, and the screen and device details you choose to include when you send us a message from the app.

How we use your information

  • To provide the app: organize and categorize your spending, detect recurring charges, build budgets and debt-payoff plans, and track your goals.
  • To read the statements and receipts you upload and turn them into transactions.
  • To keep connected banks up to date, and to show your card balances and due dates.
  • To send the emails you can control in the app: payment reminders before a card, loan or bill is due, and budget alerts. Each email has a link to stop them.
  • To let you share a joint household view with a partner you invite.
  • To keep your account secure and to contact you about it (for example, password resets or a reply to a message you sent us).
  • Calls and texts. AllBridge Solutions contacts you by phone or text about financial planning only if you checked the optional box giving that permission when you signed up. It is never required to use the app, and you can reply STOP or email us to opt out at any time.

Service providers we share with

We use a small number of providers to run the app. Each one receives only what it needs, and only to operate the service:

  • Supabase — our database and login provider. Stores your account and financial data, encrypted at rest, with rules that keep each user's data private to them.
  • Cloudflare — hosts the app and runs our server code; all traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • Plaid — connects the banks you choose to connect, as described above.
  • OpenAI, and Anthropic as a backup — when you upload a statement or receipt, its contents are sent to their API only to read the document and return the transactions; merchant names may also be sent to find the right logo for a charge. The uploaded file is deleted from our server as soon as it is read.
  • Stripe — processes payments for paid plans.
  • Resend — delivers our emails (sign-in links, reminders, replies).
  • Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google", to sign you in.

We do not sell your personal or financial information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Household sharing

If you invite a partner to a joint household, they will be able to see the accounts, transactions, debts and goals in that household. Each person can only edit their own records. You can leave a household at any time, which stops the sharing going forward.

Data retention

Uploaded statement and receipt files are deleted from our server immediately after they are read. When you disconnect a bank, we ask Plaid to end the connection and delete our access to that bank; transactions already imported stay until you delete them. The records you keep in the app remain until you delete them or close your account. When you delete a record or your account, it is removed from our database.

Your choices and rights

  • Disconnect a bank. In Accounts → Connected banks, at any time.
  • Emails. Turn each kind of reminder on or off in your profile menu → Reminders and alerts, or use the link at the bottom of any reminder.
  • Export. Download your transactions and debts as CSV from within the app.
  • Delete. Delete individual records in the app, or request deletion of your whole account by writing to [email protected].
  • Access and correction. View and edit your information directly in the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. To exercise them, contact us at [email protected].

Security

Data travels encrypted (HTTPS) and is stored encrypted. Per-user database rules keep one user from reading another user's records, and the keys to Plaid, Stripe and our database live only on our server — never in the app on your device. You can turn on two-step verification (a code from an authenticator app) in your profile menu → Account security. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Meu Dólar is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
